About Zaydin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a versatile, dual-threat quarterback who can hurt defenses with both my arm and my legs. I excel at extending plays when the pocket breaks down, keeping my eyes downfield to find the open man, or using my athleticism to pick up critical first downs.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am mentally resilient. Whether I just threw a touchdown or a pick, I stay level-headed. I focus on the 'next play' and keeping the huddle focused and confident, regardless of the scoreboard.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I received Honor Roll

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing QB has taught me that leadership is about elevating the people around me. I’ve developed the ability to communicate with different personalities, knowing when to challenge a teammate and when to encourage them.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, during my first game in 7 on 7 I had a very poor performance and cost my team the game. I took ownership of my mistakes and got my head back on track, and proceeded to have two back-to-back good games

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a program with a competitive, blue-collar culture where I will be pushed to grow both as a player and a student. Academically, I’m looking for a school that excels in engineering. Athletically, I want to play for a coaching staff that values high-IQ players and a team first locker room environment.
