Zayden Winfield Zayden Winfield 6'1" | 165 lbs | RB/WR/WR KY was North Hardin’s best spark offensively on the night. He finished the Week 1 matchup with 25 carries for 131 total (111 net) yards on 4.4 yards per carry. He added a pair of receptions for 25 yards out of the backfield as well. That means he accounted for 156 of his team’s 266 offensive yards against LCA. Winfield is tall for the position, but is undeniable with the ball in his hand. Playing him at RB does that effectively. He has nice speed on the outside and is very shifty. Winfield made defenders miss all night. The only thing he didn’t accomplish was scoring a touchdown — which I predict he will do plenty of this season.

In his most recent scrimmage against Nelson County, Winfield broke free for a shifty touchdown along the outside that saw him bop and weave his way through the defense while breaking tackles and maintaining his balance through the end zone for a 70+ yard touchdown run. He ultimately scored two touchdowns last weekend, setting him up for a potential breakout performance in Week 1.
