At 6’1” and 180 pounds, he’s one of the most versatile players in the 2026 class, capable of impacting both sides of the ball. On offense, McDonald shines as a wide receiver with downhill speed, explosiveness, and a physical edge when the ball is in his hands. He’s the kind of playmaker who can turn a short catch into a significant gain—or take the top off a defense entirely.  

But McDonald’s value doesn’t stop there. On defense, he’s a hybrid linebacker/safety who thrives in space. His ability to read and react and his speed and coverage skills make him a nightmare for opposing offenses. Whether breaking up passes, stuffing the run, or chasing down ball carriers, McDonald has a knack for being around the ball.
