Stock rising performance from Robbinsdale Armstrong junior Zahki Nix Zahki Nix 5'7" | 165 lbs | RB/WR Robbinsdale Armstrong | 2027 State MN ! A scat back/utility weapon out of the backfield, Nix was one of the more athletic RBs in attendance, holding it down for the rising seniors with a 4.70 laser 40, 4.58 shuttle, and 8’6 broad jump, and boy was he dynamic as a pass-catcher. Nix could generate serious juice out of his cuts, and his sudden footwork and overall twitch and balance made him one of the top RBs during individual drill work for Session 1. Nix was a matchup nightmare for LBs in 1v1 coverage, especially the longer the route wore on, and Nix also flashed strong hands and a big catch radius that helped him reel in some tough catches away from his body throughout the 1v1 session. Polished route runner, twitchy, strong hands, and juice in the open field during 1v1 one-move box drills against LBs, Nix was the total package and an explosive, productive, dynamic and consistent competitor throughout Session 1. I think he’s poised for a big senior season and a nice little bump on the Big Board thanks to the showing and verified testing numbers. Go Falcons!

RB MVP

Zahki was a 2027 running back prospect ouf of Robbinsdale Armstrong that got on my radar a little late, but holy cow did the reps that I got to watch later in the session live up to the hype, as he came away as our RB MVP from Session 1. It was the route-running skillsets he brought to the table that impressed not only myself, but the college coaches in attendance coaching the event. Zahki might not have been the biggest running back in attendance but you had to love in the live eval how he finished every rep. He showed off the change of direction on every opportuniy he got as the work-ethic that this young man put in, clearly stuck out quickly at our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase. He’s a running back that I feel has position flexibility that could surely turn into a slot-receiver at the next-level from what I saw on Saturday.

A fun, exciting RB prospect out of Plymouth and Robbinsdale Armstrong High School, rising senior Zahki Nix Zahki Nix 5'7" | 165 lbs | RB/WR Robbinsdale Armstrong | 2027 State MN posted 101 rushes for 577 yards and 6 TDs against 5A competition in 2025, including against eventual Class 5A state champion Spring Lake Park. Nix smoothly weaves and cruises through traffic both at the LOS and out in space, poking at testing the gap integrity of a defense as he works to the edge before he cleanly sticks his cleat in the ground, gets vertical, and exposes a hole in the defense for a strong game. He displays splash-play burst and can get to the third level of a defense in a blink, clean COD ability that can cut at top speed, and good contact balance. Nix has an especially fun rep displaying some contact balance where he runs through and splits two Spring Lake Park LB attempts at one time, clapping the two ‘backers off each other like pin balls while working forward without any visible loss of momentum.
