One of the more underrated names out of the King of Prussia area. Formerly out of Upper Merion HS, Zahaid Edwards Zahaid Edwards DB/WR Pope John Paul II | 2026 State PA has made the move over to PJP2, who was in desperate need of replacing some stud two-way players. They get one in a young man who narrowly missed earning a Division One grade out of me this ranking cycle. 6’1, 160 pounds, Edwards presence will likely be felt on defense more than anything. Braden Reed Braden Reed 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Pope John Paul II | 2025 State PA will feel a ton of pressure playing both ways, having Edwards man a secondary spot and do one hell of a job should alleviate some of that pressure on the star prospect headed to Villanova. That being said, Edwards can provide spacing opportunities on offense too. Defenses will have to account for Edwards striding down the sidelines and acting as a real threat downfield. Excited for this young man’s future, he’ll be making plays all over the field.

Zahaid Edwards Zahaid Edwards DB/WR Pope John Paul II | 2026 State PA is a Defensive Back from Upper Merion High School listed at 6’1″ and 160 pounds. He is the 30th ranked Defensive Back in the state of Pennsylvania. Has great length and speed to play the position. All tournament he seemed to be around the ball making plays. Not sure of the exact number but he had multiple interceptions all weekend. He showed his ability to get his hands on you in man to man coverage and disrupt receivers timing on routes. His ballhawking skills and elite speed stood out to me most. One of the more notable things i was able to research after looking into this prospect further is he just recently recorded an 11.21 second time in the 100 meters for his High School track team. With two more seasons before graduation year Zahaid is without a doubt a prospect to continue to follow into his junior season.
