Like his twin brother Seth, Zach also had a big game. He ran for 132 yards on 12 carries and touchdowns. He’s a patient runner who had an explosive burst to hit the hole. He’s a violent runner who was able to put his shoulder down and simply run over defenders on his way to his scores. The defensive side of the ball is where he projects too at the next level. Whether it was between the tackles or running the alleys, he was downhill and violent. Zach is a very talented defender who is going to make some college program very happy.

Zach has played very well this season as his very good play has helped the Liberty-Benton Eagles to a 5-1 record and held opposing offenses to 13.67 points per game. He plays as a MLB. Against the run, he uses his very good explosiveness and play strength to disengage from OL and squares up before delivering a nice form tackle as he makes the stop preventing a gain of significant yardage. Against the pass, he drops back into coverage while reading the QB and displays good closing speed in instincts in pursuit. He quickly makes the tackle on the receiver preventing a first down.
