Seth had a huge game for the Eagles or might I say a huge half. He accounted for 3 receiving touchdowns, an interception, and a fumble recovery just in the first half. He ended the night with 7 catches for 131 yards. Elchert was able to win with power or speed. He showed the ability to catch through contact. The Toledo commit was able to get pretty much whatever he wanted when he wanted it.

Elchert was the most physically impressive wide receiver I saw all weekend. He got great releases and showed off explosive breaks. He has the strength to bully defenders. He possesses strong hands and the ball skills to win 50/50 balls. He just physically overpowered defenders and made plays.

Elchert is a receiver who saw his recruitment take off last off season as he earned several D1 G5 camp offers with his performances at summer camps. At 6’3 he has an impressive combo of length and explosiveness. His long speed is top end as well, running in the 4.5’s at some of his 2023 summer camps. All of that shows up on his film. In his routes he plays with good tempo and sets up defensive backs well as he breaks and makes double moves. I had a chance to see Seth play basketball a couple of weeks ago and what I saw I really liked. Beyond the athleticism, I saw a player who’s willing to be physical, scrap, and fight to get what’s his. He plays with an edge but knows how to keep his emotions in check. I saw a player who hates to lose. There are a lot of players out there who possess elite physical traits, but these character traits combined with Seths physical abilities are going to make some D1 college coach very happy. I expect Elchert to stack D1 offers and start to get P4 interest this offseason.
