Duran could be considered a combo RB/WR that is a great 1-2 punch with Chase Harrison.  He runs with great pad level, shows some “make-your-man” miss ability at full speed, and is also very active with stiff arms.   He is also equally as good split out, showing off his long-speed killing off coverage defenders that don’t knock off speed.  I could only find limited game film on Duran, but can already tell what a playmaker he is!

Duran’s speed and vision made him a constant threat out of the backfield. Logging 105 carries for 855 yards, he averaged a blistering 8.1 yards per carry. His season highlight came with a 55-yard breakaway run against Pomona. Duran crossed the 100-yard mark four times this season and found the end zone for seven touchdowns. Adding versatility, he also secured four receptions for 65 yards and another score.

Duran once again proved to be Pueblo West’s most consistent offensive weapon. He rushed for 117 yards on just eight carries, averaging a staggering 14 yards per touch. Duran found the end zone twice, showing off his elusiveness and knack for turning small gains into big plays. He also stepped up as a blocker, showcasing his all-around value to the offense. Duran’s ability to produce explosive plays makes him a critical player to watch in the upcoming round.

Duran is a back that can pick up chunk yardage and shows a good burst of speed. He is not afraid to get into the mix and take on the big boys in the passing game. He shows some physicality at times being able to have the ability to break through arm tackles. He will be an under the radar guy to keep an eye on this season.
