Joren has been at our combines before, and it’s been awesome to see the growth between each one. He has good athletic ability due to very good jumping, good change of direction, speed, and acceleration. In drills with RB and TEs, he showed his good man coverage ability. Staying stride for stride with both the RB and TE. He used his good ball tracking skills, to swat the ball at the last second. Good range. Flores demonstrated very good reaction time as well, trusting his instincts to lead him to the tackle. Great job by the bruising linebacker !

Flores consistently shines at Prep Redzone events, and #PRZCombineSeriesCO was no exception. He excelled in zone coverage, using his range and anticipation to make plays across the middle. His footwork was polished during drills, and he carried that into 7 on 7s, where he aggressively attacked the ball in the air and broke up multiple passes. Flores looks ready to make noise this upcoming season.

Flores’s unwavering confidence stood out to me at the showcase. When things weren’t going his way, you could see in his eye that nothing would stop him. Very good competitive toughness. If he got beat, the next play he was winning. Having the 3^rd fastest shuttle time, Flores showcased his very good change of direction and quick feet needed to excel at linebacker. Tied for 1^st for wingspan, enables him to tackle defenders more efficiently. During the individual coaching sessions, he showed his coachability. Listening to the coaches, and implementing it into his game. Watch out for Flores.

Flores showcased leadership and maturity throughout camp, often setting the tone with his smooth, controlled movement and consistency. He demonstrated soft hands and the ability to explode out of cuts while maintaining a low, disciplined pad level. Flores’ impressive ability to read the game and adapt quickly in drills showed his understanding of football concepts. His polish and natural athleticism stand out, setting him up to make a big impact this offseason. Flores is a player whose name will undoubtedly rise on recruiting boards as he continues to improve.
