. Desir does a great job of sinking his hips when he looks to make his cut or breaks. More than anything, however, Desir has a clear burst and reaches top speed very quickly. The Minutemen, evidently, demand ball security from their rushers as Desir is another one who pins the ball to his chest, while masterfully using his free hand to push past tacklers and evade bodies in general. , the ball – literally – does not move when pressed to Desir’s chest. Like of like the Mike Tyson peek-a-boo style of boxing, Desir takes this same approach as he is at his lowest when he is behind his linemen, only to find grass and explode. I really like how he also presses the back of pulling linemen, using their body to set up his cut rather than force through a hole or run past them. A favorite trait of mine, Desir runs with a forward lean and runs his track until he reaches the second level where he then looks to create on his own. Finally, Desir looks like he makes all his cuts and runs like he is violently mad.
