Johnson turned in a monster performance in the trenches for the Buccaneers. He made his presence felt on special teams by blocking a field goal, then showcased his athleticism with several open-field tackles against one of the city’s most elusive playmakers. To top it off, Johnson even chipped in on offense, providing key blocks out of the Bucs’ heavy set. His all-around effort was a major factor in Jack Britt holding off Terry Sanford’s late surge.

He has long arms and can bend around offensive linemen with relative ease, which makes up for his lack of elite height and weight.
