This is one of the easies choices in this series. Wyatt finished with 14 sacks in 2024, finishing in 2nd place. The big man is explosive and powerful. That combo has allowed him to be a regular in offensive backfields and will help him to continue that in 2025. I’m hoping we see a repeat of his 2024 success this year.

- Central Michigan commit
- Not only in the running for this honor, but also for the DL honor
- Key piece on one of the best rushing attacks in 2024, also made an elite 14 sacks in 2024. Wyatt is a rare athlete at his size without sacrificing strength.

Wyatt plays OL and DL for Columbus and when it comes to impact on both sides of the ball you will be hard pressed to find a bigger impact this fall. On offense he dominates in the trenches. Columbus has been great at running the ball and the big fellas up front are the reason why. They work as a unit, move men, and set the tone. On defense Wyatt has been elite at collapsing the pocket and disrupting plays. His sack numbers had him among the best in the state. The name of the game is disruption on the DL and Wyatt is among the best at it.

Something we don’t see often are linemen that could legitimately play either side of the trenches. In 2024 Wyatt was one of the state’s best pass rushers from the interior. He is quick off the snap, and very powerful on contact to collapse the pocket. Wyatt also does well using his hands to disengage early in the play. Flip to the other side of the ball and you see that same power show up in the run game. A run game that was one of the best in the state.Between his heavy hands, leverage, and constantly moving feet the big man is able to displace even the biggest DL. I highly recommend getting this kid on your radar if he isn’t.

We start things off with a talented OL and DL recruit in Columbus’ Wyatt Graffin Wyatt Graffin 6'4" | 265 lbs | OL Columbus | 2026 State WI . The 265 lbs DL spent 2024 wrecking havoc on offenses. His power collapsed pockets or swiped OL aside. The big fella repeatedly flashed his closing burst to corral the QB and drag them down. Wyatt returns in 2025 with the most sacks of any athlete with 14. That outstanding number was also good enough to be 2nd in the state overall. It only took Wyatt 11 games to pile up those numbers too. The big man is a week to week impactful DL recruit. Not to mention he also was a starting OL for a 2,200+ yard rusher while helping Columbus get to Level 2 of the playoffs. I can’t wait to see his encore to that performance after a summer of turning heads and earning offers.

We move into the trenches for our final two production monsters. First up is the most productive pass rusher returning in 2025. Wyatt Graffin Wyatt Graffin 6'4" | 265 lbs | OL Columbus | 2026 State WI of Columbus finished with 14 sacks in 2024, good enough for 2nd overall in the state. Making it even more impressive, it was the first season that he put time into the DL position instead of purely OL. The big, strong athlete is also a dominant thrower during track season. With Wyatt’s size, power, quickness, and raw ability I have to believe it won’t take long into camp season for him to start turning heads and earning offers. What I’m interested in seeing is if those offers start before we get to camp season. There is plenty of productive tape to watch through and fall in love with before the teams start pouring in. This is a kid to get in early on with his size and position versatility.

One of the players I was most excited to watch Friday night was Wyatt. The junior was already on our radar with his OL play as a sophomore, but this season not only has he kept impressing at OL, but now he is dominating on the DL too. So much so that the junior entered Level 3 as the state’s leader in sacks with an insane 14 sacks. Watching him in person was as impressive as I had hoped. He is an accomplished thrower in track and you see that explosive power show up on the field too. His initial punch is very impactful, he has the lower body strength to drive his man off the line or collapse the pocket. The big man also has the hard to find body control and quick feet/hips to be able to bend or flip his hips to get around OL while on defense. Graffin has the size, strength, athleticism and overall talent to be a recruit on either side of the ball. Get eyes on this kid today.
