Wils Johnson Wils Johnson Wils Johnson 5'11" | 195 lbs Saint James | 2025 AL is a Swiss Army Knife for Saint James- making plays on both sides of the ball, all over the field the last few seasons for them. Johnson had a super productive year for them last fall, recording 155 total tackles, 3 forced fumbles, 4 sacks, and 6 receptions for 77 yards. Although he’s a viable target at tight end, Johnson truly shines on defense as a star linebacker for his team. Some things that really stood out to me with his tape are how hard he hits, his tackling techniques, and his understanding of opposing offenses and where he needs to be on the field to impact them. Johnson is a beast when it comes to locating, pursuing, and tackling the ball carrier. It doesn’t matter where he initially lines up, his anticipation and pursuit are seriously valuable to him as a player and it shows as he can easily make sideline-to-sideline plays all over the field. Keep an eye on Johnson this fall, he’s set up for a big senior season for both Saint James and his defense.
