Warrick VanBlaricon
About Warrick
Expert Analysis

The 6-foot-3, 285-pound VanBlaricon is a strong and athletic high IQ right tackle that is first and foremost a true road grader.
Shows a good initial punch and finish. He also shows a very high capability to work edge defenders on the way to the second level linebackers due to his athletic ability. Has line versatility as he can play either offensive tackle or guard. Very capable pass blocker against edge rushers.
Helped lead Salina Central to the 5A state title and made an excellent tackle due with University of Kansas bound left tackle Kayden Snyder.
The Mustangs set school records in total yards (5,905) and single season passing touchdowns (30). Overall the offense had 80 total touchdowns and averaged 310 yards rushing per game (8.1 yards per carry).
He picked up 1st Team 5A All-State OT, unanimous 1st Team All-Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail League Division II OT and 1st Team Sports in Kansas All-State Non-Senior honors.
The sky is the limit for VanBlaricon as he still has plenty of room to fill out his frame. He will have the opportunity to be recruited at the highest levels.

VanBaricon is the classic “Teddy Bear,” that you should not poke. He is a fantastic lineman who always seems to be doing things with great humility. His social media presence is the kind that other players should look to for a reference point on how to maximize selling their skills to coaches and scouts. I have witnessed firsthand the meaness with which he plays, but also the kindness he shows to other athletes and coaches. He is a sponge who will always work on improving his athletic skills on the field and life skills off it.

, 6’5, 295, OL, Salina Central, ’27. This time last year he was recovering from a baseball injury that limited him more than he would have liked, but he is making up for lost time this spring. As a D1-prospect with prototype size and skill sets he is looking for the events with the right fit and exposure that will help him optimize his game rolling into the fall season. Hitting the ground running he was at KU’s Junior Days recently, and will be at K-State’s Junior Day today. He is getting ready for the KC Varsity Combine, followed by the Revive Performance Combine at McPherson College later this month. After that he’s headed to K-State, KU, Mizzou, Iowa State, Oklahoma and Minnesota. All within 2 weeks. He has big plans for taking his game to the next level and is off making that happen. The word is getting out, this guy means business and is getting ready to dominate this fall.

As previously mentioned, the Great State of Kansas has some tremendously exciting offensive line prospects in their budding 2027 class, and yet another must-know name out of its ranks is Salina Central’s Warrick VanBlaricon. Measuring in at an eye-catching 6’5, 285 lb., VanBlaricon got his first varsity start at the end of September and helped the Mustangs get a tight 34-31 victory behind his pads. A PrepRedzoneNEXT Showcase MVP, VanBlaricon seems to be transferring his middle school prowess over to the high school level, and displays a ton of strength and power as a freshman right tackle. His initial pop and punch is noticeably heavy and commanding, and he does a good job of keeping his hands active and working hard to maintain inside leverage. Additionally, his base helps him in both run and pass blocking situations, and he’s mobile enough to show the skill drop his hips and breakdown in space to handle LBs and smaller defenders, as well as get out in front of ball carriers and lead block in space. The RT still has some work to do in terms of growing into his frame, adding some control and movement skills, and generally developing his body, but there’s strength, confidence, aggression, and effectiveness against experienced varsity DL. VanBlaricon, as well as the other early standouts in the Kansas 2027 OL crop of talent, is a name very much worth following when talking big-time potential recruits.

Kansas – Every bit of 6-foot-4 and 265 pounds right now. Can play either offensive tackle spot, in addition to defensive end and defensive tackle. Another multi-sport athlete with agility that is improving daily. Bends well and moves his feet consistently for this age level. He’ll be at Salina Central High School.

Warrick is a BIG offensive lineman to keep track of before it is too late. With his big 6’3 frame, Warrick has spent the majority of his time at tackle, but there is a strong chance that he could move to the interior offensive line at the college level. At tackle, Warrick is a very patient pass protector who does a phenomenal job maintaining posture when he is working against a pass rusher. Overall, Warrick is an explosive kid who is going to dominate at offensive line with his size and strength.
