Walt Myrick Walt Myrick 5'10" | 180 lbs | LB Wetumpka | 2026 State AL has been a dominant piece of Wetumpka’s defense the last few years, and this season has been no exception.

“Myrick is a talented player who can do a lot of different things really well on defense- he’s great at generating pressure in the backfield, is terrific at stopping the run, and can even make some big plays out in coverage as well.

On top of that, Myrick is an instinctual player who’s excellent at reading and reacting to opposing offenses. He’s always in a good position to make an impact or help his teammates make plays, regardless of whether they’re running or passing.“
