Summers is a good young back who got valuable varsity work as a freshman and looked like he belonged. He has a good frame, moves well, and shows reliable hands out of the backfield. As a runner, he has good vision, runs with strength, and has the speed to hit the big one when he gets into the open field. I like the confidence he plays with, and he seems like someone who flourishes in year 2. For a young back, he checks a lot of boxes and already has a solid foundation to build from.

A Class of 2029 RB, Walker Summers Walker Summers KY , put together some impressive film as a freshman last season at South Warren. He’s a speedy back, but that doesn’t stop him from being patient with the ball in his hands and waiting for his blocks before turning on the jets. Summers does a good job running north and south and isn’t easy to bring down. He often makes the first man miss. As he continues to develop and produce more varsity tape, Summers is a name to watch in western Kentucky.
