might not have made a flashy first impression, but by the end of the day, he absolutely earned a spot in the conversation. What stood out most was his mechanical consistency — every rep looked intentional, with a smooth delivery and sharp footwork. He’s definitely on the smaller side compared to some of the other quarterbacks at the event, but you wouldn’t have known it based on how he threw the football. He’s got a compact, quick release, and even though he doesn’t have elite velocity yet, he gets surprising power behind his throws. That’s the kind of thing that’ll only improve as he continues to grow and add strength. What really impressed me was the way he approached the day — attacking every drill with purpose and competing with maturity beyond his years. Vincent threw a very catchable ball and showed good anticipation, even with receivers he clearly hadn’t worked with before. He made the most of every rep and looked like a player who’s already ahead of the curve for his age. His future’s bright, and this combine was a solid step in the right direction.

Vincent might not have ideal size, but the kid just knows how to play the position. There’s a natural instinct to how he moves in the pocket and delivers the football. Sure, the feet can get a little choppy at times — something you see a lot with younger QBs — but that’s part of what makes this event so valuable. It’s a chance to see if that’s something he’s been working on and how he handles himself when the reps start stacking up. What really stands out on film is his touch and ball placement. He’s not trying to rocket it in every throw — he throws with purpose, and there’s a clear understanding of where he wants to go with the football. I’ll be watching closely to see how he handles timing throws and quick decisions in drills. If the footwork has taken a step and the arm is looking clean, he could really leave a strong impression this weekend.
