LB1 in the upcoming 2029 class is honestly one of the better linebackers in the entire state, especially in terms of collegiate projection. A PRZMN Showcase alumnus whose size, length, and athleticism are far from your typical front-seven defender, Kratochvil was competing in a LB that had some serious Big Dogs involved, and he looked and played the part along with rising seniors and juniors in terms of mobility, positional-specific drill work, and rising to the occasion when competition rolls around. Kratochvil could drop his hips and break at 90 degree angles well, bend, and was playing with intensity and a First-in-Line attitude. He put the tools to good use during 1v1 action, and especially in pass defense, where the 200 lber. was dynamic and used his length to his advantage. Stay on the lookout for Pequot Lakes the next few seasons.

Easily one of the most impressive Minnesota 2029s in attendance at the Minnesota prospect camp on Tuesday night was our LB1 in the class

of Pequot Lakes. The 6’2 200 pounder tested extremely well amongst the 2029 class as the 6’2 200 pounder showed off the athletic profile college coaches surely want to see as his overall twitchiness was on display with his change of direction. Vince showed off a fluid get off and quicker hands off blocks than you might expect out o a 2029 prospect in the linebacker reps I watched on Tuesday night and man, the long wingspan was surely an eye-catcher out of this 2029 group.

The 2029 LB combination that Pequot Lakes has right now is frankly, ridiculous. In addition to Henry O’Neil, who is built like a seasoned power lifted, long, lean, and rangy

really fires up PRZMN. In addition to his verified 6’3, 201 lb. frame with a 77″ wingspan, Kratochvil popped off a 4.55 shuttle and 9’1 broad with 9″ hands and a ridiculous amount of room to fill in. Closing speed in droves, overwhelming length at the catch point, quick enough to stay in-phase with streaking RBs, and the top-end speed to stay with RBs working vertically. Future could possibly move down to the LOS at DE depending on how he continues to grow, but either way, Kratochvil’s ceiling is a high one.

fits as a viable LB prospect who saw solid playing time in his freshman year in the midst of a 9-1 campaign for Pequot Lakes. Kratochvil recorded 20 tackles, 2 TFLs, and a fumble return TD on defense. Kratochvil’s role was most prevalent on special teams, where he excelled as a coverage defender, doing a great job in tracking the ball while also proving capable in generating pressure and out leveraging blockers to get around them and stop the outside run. Kratochvil’s role should likely become more prevalent as he enters his sophomore year, and it looks that Kratochvil will become a major contributor to the Patriots’ defense very soon.
