was one of the best two-way players in Class A-1 a season ago and we don’t anticipate that changing as he prepares for his junior season. First up, Wildcat is another part of that linebacker group that is incredibly deep and talented. Wildcat led the Huskies with 123 tackles last season and will look to build on that production from a year ago. He’ll be a 3-year starter on defense. He also started for Pawhuska on the offensive side of the ball as a running back. He finished with nearly 600 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. While the Huskies will look to air it out, don’t overlook their physical running game with Wildcat and Foreman.

We finish off this breakdown with another example of a 2027 prospect that shows a lot of promise at the linebacker position but he’s much more than a traditional linebacker. Pawhuska’s

led the team in tackles with well over 100 on the season but he also led the team in rushing on the offensive side of the ball. Now, we still have Wildcat listed as a linebacker here because that’s where he’s impressed us the most, based on the film and production on the field. And while he has plenty of production on offense, he is significantly more valuable to what Pawhuska does on the defensive side of the ball. There’s a high ceiling with Wildcat moving forward and yet he’s still flying under the radar across the state. He’s a really solid small school linebacker that should start getting more credit as we start looking ahead to the 2025 football season.

as one of their players to watch and he has certainly lived up to the preseason hype. Wildcat has emerged as one of the top small school linebackers in Oklahoma and he’s also been productive on both sides of the ball. Looking back at some of our notes from this offseason, Wildcat was praised by the Pawhuska coaches as being a guy that has a bright future and is just scratching the surface on what he’ll be. Wildcat was able to get playing time last season as a freshman and he’s taken his game up a level this fall as a sophomore. We can’t help but wonder how he’ll improve over the next two years.

moving forward. He was a playmaker for the Huskies that found his way onto the field as a freshman and was able to produce at a high level last season. During his freshman season, Wildcat finished the year with nearly 60 tackles from the linebacker position. This fall, the Huskies expect Wildcat to take that next step as an overall playmaker and should be able to be productive on both sides of the ball. Obviously Wildcat will be very important on the defensive side of the ball but don’t overlook what he can do on offense from the running back position. He could end up being one of Pawhuska’s top two-way players.
