Everything for me when it comes to Dodson is based around potential. The Lions sophomore defensive lineman has the look of a future college guy but it’s tough to gauge exactly where he belongs the best up front on the next level. Dodson has a good build, frame to him along with decent arm length and strong hands. Those traits speak to me as a future defensive end, edge setter or possibly a 3-tech defensive tackle. The Lions sophomore shows pass rush, run stuffing upside but must work on his agility and explosiveness to become the kind of force he can be. Dodson has shown on occasions this year near dominating game play but has disappeared at times as well. I think he will get there as long he continues to work on his flaws while putting more mass and weight onto his youthful frame. College coaches see the potential as well as Dodson has achieved several offers and I believe they will continue coming in over the coming months.

Hats off to whoever is working in the Recruiting Department at Nicholls State University, because they have offered a number of talented 2029 prospects in the state of Tennessee. Columbia Central’s Tyshon Dodson Tyshon Dodson 6'3" | 260 lbs | DL Columbia Central | 2029 TN is one of those prospects and he just picked up the offer a week ago. He’ll join the Lions as a freshman and I’d assume he contributes very quickly on the Varsity level in both Football and Baseball. At 6-foot-2 and 220-pounds he’s a load to bring down in open field, and you can imagine how hard the pitches are coming in with him on the bump.
