Sam put his name on the radar as a physical two-way player (RB/LB) for Pershing County last fall. The 5’10″/190 senior proved to be a violent tackler with a solid combination of range and power from his ILB spot. Shows his athleticism navigating through traffic around the LOS and tracking down ball-carriers out on the perimeter. Hits with power behind his pads and can create disruptive plays behind the LOS when getting downhill between the OTs. Sam’s size and athleticism should translate well to an OLB role at the D-III/NAIA level.
