has quietly built one of the more consistent résumés in New Jersey. At 5’10”, 180 pounds, he’s not the flashiest name—but his tape tells the real story. Roane consistently wins deep with his speed, but just as important is how dangerous he is after the catch. Whether it’s screens, slants, or quick outs, his ability to turn short throws into big gains makes him a go-to target.
Defenses tend to back off to avoid getting beaten over the top, which only opens more room underneath. With his role in the offense and how often he’s fed the ball, Roane is a sleeper pick to be one of New Jersey’s top producers in catches this season.

earns the superlative for best after the catch. He may be undersized at 5-foot-9, 160 pounds, but he plays bigger than his frame suggests. His explosiveness, elusiveness, and ability to break tackles make him a dangerous playmaker with the ball in his hands.
Roane could easily have been recognized as the best at getting open, but his work after the catch truly sets him apart. He combines quick acceleration with shifty moves in the open field, making defenders miss with ease. More impressively, he doesn’t just rely on speed—his contact balance allows him to fight through tackles and turn short gains into big plays.
Expect Roane to gain even more attention this offseason. His ability to make defenders miss and create explosive plays will put him on the radar as one of the top receivers in New Jersey’s 2026 class.

, a 5’10”, 185-pound wide receiver, is a dynamic playmaker with plenty of explosiveness. He excels at getting on top of defensive backs, stacking them, and gaining position deep down the field. Tyree’s ability to operate outside the numbers and exceptional ball-tracking skills make him a dangerous deep threat. His sturdy 185-pound frame, especially his thick lower half, also allows him to create yards after the catch. With the ball in his hands, he’s more like a running back, breaking tackles and turning short gains into big plays. His game puts you in the mind of former Steelers wide receiver James Washington.
Tyree must focus exclusively on marketing himself as a wide receiver to elevate his game and move from the watch list to the rankings. While his defensive tape shows his ball-tracking skills at safety, it’s clear that he’s playing the position out of necessity rather than natural inclination. He doesn’t have the physicality or tackling ability you’d expect from a standout safety. Therefore, his future lies in becoming a more polished wide receiver.
The next step for Tyree is to hone his craft in route running. By becoming a more nuanced route runner, he can expand his route tree and become even more of a threat. He has the potential to master double moves and consistently win matchups that way. Once Tyree starts manipulating his tempo and using his upper body to deceive defenders, he’ll take that next step toward being ranked and earning his first offer.

is one of the top downfield threats in the state. Racking up 674 yards and 10 touchdowns as a sophomore, Tyree is one of the smaller receivers on this list but is arguably the most explosive. A receiver I see rising in the rankings very soon, Tyree is everything you are looking for in a WR1. He can make the contested catches look easy and maintain his balance to continue on downfield for a touchdown. Tyree is the most dangerous man on the field any time he is out there.

can sprint by a cornerback without them ever standing a chance. A very agile ball carrier, I am most impressed with what Tyree can do once the ball is in his hands.
However, Tyree is deadly even before he gets the ball. Don’t be deceived by Tyree’s size, it doesn’t stop him from being a downfield threat. With the hand strength he has, Tyree has the ability to bring the ball in even if a defender has his hands on it. Receiving 450 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2023, look for him to put up some big numbers next season.
