‘s 2024 season was all about making plays when his team needed it most. At 5’11” and 175 pounds, Burr is a true arm talent with incredibly savvy pocket awareness. This guy knows how to attack a defense, especially over the top. Whether it’s dropping a deep bomb into a receiver’s hands or threading a pass into tight coverage, Burr has a knack for making the big plays that turn games around. What really separates Burr is how smooth he is in the pocket. He’s not a huge running threat, but he doesn’t need to be. Burr moves so well in the backfield, buying himself extra time to let plays develop. Rolling out or slipping away from pressure, he has a way of keeping defenses on their heels and giving his receivers a chance to break free downfield. Burr wrapped up his senior year with 2,092 passing yards 24 touchdowns, just six interceptions, and a final passer rating of 119.2. Sure, he’s got room to grow — adding a little more to his frame wouldn’t hurt. But Burr’s multi-sport background gives him an edge, adding athleticism and creativity to his already impressive skill set. Burr’s heading to Wheaton College next year, but his focus won’t be on football. Instead, he’ll be showcasing his skills on the baseball diamond.

is just that. Far beyond being a typical pocket passer with a strong deep ball, Burr can take a broken play and turn it into a big gain. Time and again, he uses quick footwork to slip out of sacks, all while keeping his eyes downfield to find a receiver who’s worked their way open. One of the most impressive parts of his game is his willingness to throw over the middle and his accuracy when doing so. He doesn’t hesitate to fire the ball through tight windows, showing his immense trust in both his arm and his receivers. Playing in the 3A conference, Burr is a player who absolutely has what it takes to play at the next level.

has a rocket for an arm and isn’t at all afraid to use it for Gilbert Christian. When throwing the ball outside the numbers, he can really take over a game with his ability to get the ball over the top of the defense and lead his receivers down the field. Burr is athletic enough to buy extra time in the pocket and does a nice job of moving fluidly behind the line of scrimmage. He averaged over 190 total yards a game as a junior and is looking to surpass that number in his final high school season. A three sport athlete, Burr also hit .421 on the diamond and averaged 2.8 points per game on the hardwood last year, showing you just how well-rounded an athlete he is.
