Tye’shawn landed 3 offers just last month from the University of Charleston, Loch Haven University, and Edinboro University on Wednesday. This past season Cox showed just how lethal his speed can be, he was a deep ball threat and put his ball carrying skills on display in the run game. We still have a few weeks until signing day so look for few more programs to take a look at Tyeshawn’s body of work over the past two seasons.

Cox is another speedster on the offensive side of the ball. He is fast and sudden in his routes making it difficult for DBs to get a hand on him in coverage. He accelerates fast once he secures the ball and doesn’t waste much time to get north and south. Outside of his dangerous feet he can make contested catches down the field and across the middle. Cox touches the ball all over the field, slot, x receiver and even in the run game. He will be a Swiss army knife for Mervo this upcoming season.

Tye’Shawn has the one thing you can’t teach, speed. He’s flat out fast, and the shiftiest receiver in that Mustang receiving core. He has a suddenness to him that you can see in his routes during his breaks. His acceleration is dangerous, he catches defenders flat footed, by the time they turn to run he’s down the sideline with the ball. He has good ball skills and makes catches all over the field. He can high point over DB’s his size and make catches through contact across the middle of the field.
