About Troy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I anticipate and attack as a defensive back. I can play up in the box or out as a hybrid DB. Never afraid to hit. Quick to adjust. I give everything I've got on every play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm hungry to win after watching our program win back to back football state championships. Getting stopped the past 2 seasons at the Regional championship game has left an even stronger desire to train harder and get to that state championship game again. Off the field my focus is on training my body and mind to constantly improve my game. There is no “off season”.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Maturity, patience, teamwork, adaptability, confidence, hard-working, and driven are qualities that I possess.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My Mom is battling stage 4 cancer. Football has been a big stress reliever. Getting on the field and focusing on the game has been an incredibly helpful outlet. She loves watching me play and I play for her.

What type of college are you looking for?

Getting a degree is #1 priority for long-term success, but continuing to play football while earning that degree is my ultimate goal. I'm looking for a college that wants me to succeed just as much as I want our team to win.
