Transferring over from Oxford High, Trip Maxwell Trip Maxwell 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Briarfield Academy | 2023 State MS shattered many single season records at Hartfield Academy this year. The senior threw for over 2,100 yards and 25 touchdowns, dominating the MAIS and taking Hartfield Academy deep into the playoffs. Standing at 6’2″ 200, Maxwell has good size for the position and can continue to add weight to his frame. As a passer, Maxwell operates well from the pocket and shows the ability to extend plays when the pocket collapses. Operating well in the play action game, Maxwell can let the ball sail downfield to his receiver. Maxwell has a powerful arm that can put a lot of zip on the ball at all levels of the field. What stands out most about his game is his ability to improvise. Maxwell is a scramble drill wizard who can create some huge plays by moving around defenders. Only holding two offers right now, expect some more teams to be interested in the Hartfield Academy prospect by signing day.
