As we transition into off-season recruiting, I believe he is a player that will start receiving more attention with some offers coming his way. The junior wide-out has all the tools to be a dominate player at the next level. He has ideal height at 6’2 with the ability to run and gain separation from defensive backs. He posses natural hand while being able to run crisp routes. His strong junior season has set him up for a break out senior season in 2024.

The junior wide receiver had a big night on Friday against Glenbard West, going for 178 receiving yards in a close loss for Lyons Townships. Stamm measures in at 6’2, 175 lbs. He is beginning to receive Division I interest. When you turn on the tape, its easy to see why. Stamm is a long and rangy wide out who makes tough catches look easy. He is a smooth route runner, who glides in and out of breaks to create separation from opposing defensive backs. Stamm exhibits plus body control, as he can adjust to the ball making sure he is the only one who comes down with it. Keep an eye out for Stamm to continue his big numbers throughout the season.

You can’t argue with the production that the 6’2″ 175 lbs WR put up as a sophomore. He finished with nearly 700 yards and 11 TDs. So I am expecting big things from the standout weapon this fall. Last season, Travis showed off the field stretching speed. He consistently ripped the top off the defense with his speed. Speed that ate up the cushion from DBs and left them trying to catch up out of their hip flip. The big target adjusts well to the ball in flight also. He finds ways to put himself in position that gives him the best chance of securing the catch. Travis demonstrated really good spacial awareness along the sideline and in the corner of the endzone. I’m excited to watch him continue to develop himself into a well rounded WR.

Size, speed, and playmaking ability are all more than present in the rising junior, and his sophomore tape is a fun one that is filled with splash plays downfield that see him eat up 10+ yard cushions in the blink of an eye. Stamm is also a natural at stacking CBs once he blows by them, is quick & deceptive at the top of the route, and tracks & plays the ball well in the air. The off-man killer is also an asset as a blocker out on the perimeter and enjoys helping his teammates create big plays and find success just as much as does doing it himself. Stamm is only getting better too, which should scare the mess out of opposing DBs on the Lions 2023 schedule.
