Lyons had a lot of talent this year and will be brining a lot of those players back for next year. Here are 5 underclassman that played significant roles this year for Lions and will be players to watch out for next year.
Travis Stamm Travis Stamm 6’2″ | 180 lbs | WR Lyons Township | 2025 State IL is the most well-known underclassman for Lyons, gaining a lot of interest this past year from division 1 schools. As we transition into off-season recruiting, I believe he is a player that will start receiving more attention with some offers coming his way. The junior wide-out has all the tools to be a dominate player at the next level. He has ideal height at 6’2 with the ability to run and gain separation from defensive backs. He posses natural hand while being able to run crisp routes. His strong junior season has set him up for a break out senior season in 2024.

Roman Sosnovyy
Roman Sosnovyy possess the ability to be one of the next stand-out defensive ends in Illinois. He made a name for himself this year as a sophomore pressuring the quarterback and making big plays for the Lions defense. He has great hand usage for a young player, locking out and shedding offensive lineman on a consistant. He also has the size and strength to be a physical defensive lineman. Sosnovyy is a versatile player who projects to a few positions across the defensive line. He looks to only get better in the next two years at Lyons.
