A player with good strength in his upper body to drive off linemen to bring down ball carriers. Doesn’t shy away from contact with linemen to plug up running lanes. Good quickness to shoot gaps with body control to bring pressure to the backfield. Has speed to play in the flats, makes stops outside the tackles as well. An agile player that can perform well in pass coverage and make stops. Avalone plays hard when he takes the field and it shows up well on his film. With another offseason of development will be a player to watch on a stingy defense.
