Tom is a running back I’ll be watching closely this season because he has an opportunity to carve out a bigger role in the offense. He runs with patience, allowing his blocks to develop before accelerating through the opening, and he has enough burst to turn a well-timed cut into a chunk play. I also like his ability to keep the run moving when the first lane closes, which can be valuable over the course of a game.
