PRZMN has been hearing behind the scenes that Maple Grove DB TJ Williams has been having a good offseason. Well, consider the rumors true, as the Maple Grove CB was an easy selection for top performer status, in all phases of the camp, out of the DB group. One of the quickest, most controlled, and most consistent DBs during drill work, Williams transitioned the successful and impressive warm up into 1v1s with noticeable emphasis. Athletic enough to hang with every WR at the camp in terms of speed/quickness, Williams was very comfortable maintaining phase while keeping his eyes on a WR’s hip as the route developed. He could get in and out of his breaks with ease and was comfortable, physical, and effective when the ball was in the air, whether under a hanging deep ball or a rocket of an underneath throw. Williams was very productive and eye-catching during 1v1s, routinely getting the Minnesota Gopher DBs in attendance hyped thanks to his stickiness throughout competition. Should be a big season for Williams in the new-look 2026 Maple Grove roster.
