He was given a high grade from his film evaluation during our ranking update that didn’t include a verified speed. The grade was based solely on his skill set.  He did test during the event that included 4.83  40yrd time. Kuefler has a frame that is lean and muscular. Has long legs and can bend.  He is athletically coordinated, can release from the line quickly, sell the go route, makes precise cuts in/out of breaks, catches the ball on a consistent basis, and is typically quicker than fast. He was selected as a Top Performer in the WR/Tight-end group.

Formerly a 2025 out of Catholic Memorial in Stow, MA. Still a 2025 after transferring to the Lawrence Academy, so Kuefler will be playing his last year of ball as a Spartan. Recently ranked as a top 150 player by Roger Silva, top 20 at his position, high praise. Plugging in the tape, you can witness Kuefler’s potential as a flanker/Z. First two offensive reps show he can hurt a defense downfield, as well as at the LOS. Blends YAC and acceleration skills well. Route tree spreads far, is a man-to-man beater because he can work several different routes. Slants, fades, nines, screens, Kuefler has a bag to work with. Smart player in terms of leverage use, this shows itself when stalk and open-field blocking, when attempting to box-out DBs as well. Kuefler’s reps at OTN and inside slot corner have likely helped him understand leverage use better, which has translated to the offensive side of the ball. Is likely to make an immediate impact at the Lawrence Academy.

Film Highlight Review: Thomas lines up mostly as an outside WR. He shows the ability to get open and win in many different ways. As a vertical player, he shows good body control and a knack for winning the contested balls. After the catch, Thomas is not easy to tackle and proves he can turn the short pass into an explosive play. Thomas has a wide catch radius, and is a prospect who I think is going to have a strong senior year.
 

Projection: His physical measurables (height and weight) align him as a Division 1-3 prospect.

He made acrobatic catches that displayed his ability to make back shoulder catches look easy.  Has a very athletic fame with lean muscle.  Very competitive and was observed trying to get as many reps as possible through the entire event on both days.  Knows how to find separation to make the play.  He can twist and turn with the best of them. Very agile and twitchy athlete. Will be taking his talent to Catholic Memorial in fall 2023 season.
