Jenkins has been on our radar for several years, and after a transfer and an injury-plagued season, we think he’ll break out in 2026. He can fly, and was fantastic last season when healthy, catching 20 passes for over 300 yards in three games. He’s a good route-runner who can win in a variety of ways.
Jenkins is an excellent route-runner who had the look of a breakout candidate in 2025. He broke his collarbone early in the season, ultimately returning in late October with an immediate 200-yard game. He has good size and his feel against zone coverage makes him an excellent safety blanket on an offense that wants to throw the ball.
Jenkins was one of the top targets for Pine Lake Prep last season and moves over to Southlake Christian where he’s easily one of the top NCISAA WRs in the state. I’m interested to see how he’s used at Southlake Christian in a crowded receiver room, but he moves well and can probably run a more complete route tree than he’s shown on film so far.
In a class lacking polished route-runners, Jenkins stands out as a productive and technical receiver. He scares defenders with his speed, but does a lot of his damage on comebacks and curls as he can get in and out of his breaks quickly. While I currently have a D2 grade on him, the lack of true technical receivers in this class could have him punching above his weight on the recruiting trail and there’s still plenty of time for the slender Jenkins to bulk up a bit and continue to improve.
