I am surprised to not see any offers on Terrell’s social media; The heavy hitting linebacker is a player coaches should know about before the 2023 season heats up.

Terrell’s speed, length, power, and instincts combine to make him a true MLB prospect. Good change of direction and decisiveness shows attacking the point of attack in run defense. Power and physicality shows delivering contact to ball carriers. Terrell’s experience, closing speed, and hand technique as a blitzer highlight pass rush versatility at the next level.

He was the true leader of the defense at inside linebacker. Terrell did a great job of reading his keys and coming downhill in quickly to fill his gap against the run. He also took great angles to flow to the ball to put himself in position to make tackles when the play was run away from him. Once he got to the ball, he was a very reliable tackler in the open field. Porter also showed dependability against the pass, using his speed to open up and run with receivers out of the slot in man coverage. While he doesn’t currently hold any offers, they should come quickly over the next two seasons as Porter has the skill set to be a very good linebacker at the next level.

Porter, like Morton, also looks the part at linebacker at 6-0 and 215 pounds. And, like Morton, he’s coming off a strong sophomore season and should be a problem for opposing offenses over his final two high school seasons.

Porter racked up 83 tackles, eight tackles for loss and one interception as a sophomore.
