Senior running back Tate McClendon Tate McClendon RB Shawnee | 2026 State OK is another new addition to the Wolves’ offense and between McClendon and Lassiter, this Shawnee backfield is going to be incredibly tough to contain behind that offensive line. McClendon enjoyed a breakout season last fall with Prague. While The Red Devils struggled in the win-loss column, McClendon was absolutely electric. He finished the year with well over 1,500 yards and 21 touchdowns. If he can replicate that production for the Wolves this season, Shawnee is going to be in a very good position in Class 5A. It will also be fun to see how McClendon competes against a higher classification of opponents.
