Senior quarterback and defensive back Braylon Lassiter Braylon Lassiter 6'0" | 180 lbs | ATH/DB Shawnee | 2026 State OK is the first of several key additions to the Shawnee roster this offseason. Lassiter spent his junior season at Norman North and played primarily on defense. But Lassiter is a terrific quarterback from watching him in person in the last two springs. And then you add the athletic element and if he needs to, he can beat defenses with his legs. Lassiter has an absolute rocket of an arm and he’s going to have time from his offensive line to push the ball downfield and he has the arm strength to get it where it needs to be. If Lassiter stays healthy this fall, he could be a guy that puts up monster numbers on offense.

Del City 2026 quarterback Braylon Lassiter Braylon Lassiter 6'0" | 180 lbs | ATH/DB Shawnee | 2026 State OK is definitely on our short list of signal callers to watch this weekend. We’ve only really gotten a chance to see Lassiter on film and he did a good job last fall with Star Spencer. Lassiter moved back to Del City and could be the guy moving forward in their offense. This weekend, Lassiter will be playing for YAYO and their coaches believe he’s going to be one of the better quarterbacks we see during the tourney. And looking at some of the players YAYO has at wide receiver, Lassiter should have a big weekend.
