Tanner was the Mustangs’ leading receiver as he hauled in 41 receptions for 498 yards and six touchdowns. One of Tanner’s biggest assets as a receiver is his hands, as he shows the ability to haul in tough catches in traffic and make “hands” catches away from his body. He does an excellent job tracking the ball in the air and makes sure to follow it with his eyes and into his hands for the “snapshot” catch. I like Tanner’s versatility in the offense and should fit in well as a Z-receiver who can be moved around pre-snap to find mismatches. Solid route runner who is sharp going through his breaks. Good size and strength at 6’1″ and 165 pounds.
