Royster is a phenomenal athlete who can slow the game down to make anyone miss. He can stop on a dime to cut across the field, and he is aggressive enough to run over a defender if he can’t slow down to make a move. He possesses a great burst that allows him to reach the second level quickly, and he can slow down to let his offensive line create openings for him.

Royster is a dynamic playmaker at running back for the East Tigers. He’s a sturdily built back who has the size and physicality to run between the tackles. He has excellent vision and an explosive jump cut that he uses to leave defenders grasping at air. He runs with a lean when he gets into traffic and has the strength to run through arm tackles. When he gets into the open, Ta’John has the speed to take it the house. He’s shows off his hands and playmaking ability in the passing game on screens. I’m excited to see what’s ahead for Royster as college coaches begin to get eyes on him.
