Thompson-Ayers is a spark plug on offense. He gets great releases and has the speed to stretch the field vertically. He shows great body control and the ball skills to go up and make acrobatic grabs. This young receiver for the East Tigers is one that I expect a strong sophomore season from and one who could gain quick recruiting momentum.

Michael impressed early on in the day. His athleticism was even better than I saw on film. His lack of experience wasn’t an issue at all against a great DB class, and he looks the part as a freshman. I was very impressed.

Michael has impressed early. He found varsity playing time as a freshman on a 10-2 Columbus East team, and is currently playing up in age divisions for his 7v7 program. He’s young and undersized, but I want to see what he’s got and am excited to learn more about his game.
