Another DB in the top 10 in what is looking to be a incredibly strong DB class, Tahkil is making his name known in the group. A high level athlete, he is smooth and twitchy. He’s got quickness, burst, agility and active feet. Due to that high level athleticism he is also used on as an offensive weapon but I do believe his best spot going forward is at CB.
A versatile DB, Tahkil can play out wide or in the slot. Able to cover crossers and stay in phase with WRs with his quickness. A ball hawk in coverage, he reads passes and put himself in position to get the PBU or interception. Tahkil is a smooth fluid and athletic CB who also plays bigger than his size. Not afraid to throw his body in tackles and play close to the LOS. As he continues to grow and fill out I expect him to only improve. A player that should start to generate more and more interest as the year goes along and be a prospect plenty of colleges want to see camp next summer.
