When watching Gill play, first thing that catches the eye is the beauty of the deep ball. Gill’s ability to place the ball where it needs to be and the way he flies is a sight. He is quick on the release, letting it go the moment he sees his target in position. Gill looks to have total command of the pocket, navigating through it while locating his receivers. He is a tough runner, lowering the shoulder to get those extra yards, never backing down. He showed good vision as a runner, getting to the outside and having the speed to outrun defenders. Gill excels in rollouts, hitting receivers with great precision on the run with much zip on the ball and putting it only where his players can get it. Gill through for a productive 2,400 yards and added 25 touchdowns to that. He has much excitement to his game and we do not expect anything different from him for his senior year.
