Easily the biggest frame in this specialist group comes out of Mobridge-Pollock’s Shooter Frederick Shooter Frederick 6'4" | 185 lbs | K/QB Mobridge-Pollock | 2027 State SD . The 6’5 185 pounder has a long leg that has plenty of upside, as even his kicks that didn’t have all the gas still show off plenty of leg from distance. He has crushing distance on field goals that if the Tigers put the ball on the 30-yard line or less, Shooter could surely give you a chance for three points. I also was impressed with his poised mechanics that he showed off in his follow through as there is plenty of consistency across the board for our KP3 in the 2027 South Dakota class.

He hasn’t posted his junior tape for the Tigers as of yet, but Shooter is a 2027 kicker in this class that with his size college coaches will want to take a look at to improve their special teams in the coming years. Every field goal you watcher Shooter attempt has plenty of extra length to carry much longer. He carries himself with poise that he is going to knock down every kick from within his range and usually does so. I would be intrigued to see what Shooter looks like with his longer range field goal attempts as hopefully the junior tape shows more depth.

Last update I had Shooter graded as a quarterback and now rolling back the tape from 2024, I can see that he might be a next-level specialist in the making. He has a long kicking leg that for the most part, shows off great hangtime on his field goals and it gets up quickly especially on shorter field goals and extra points. Even when his power isn’t full throttle, his kicks buzz thru on tape like a missle length wise.
