Shawn impressed on both sides of the ball at OT and DE in Elkton’s game versus Perryville. He has a good size/frame/length and he used those to his advantage. He recorded one sack and multiple tackles as he got after the ball all game long. Showed a high motor and ability to re-direct and chase down the ball. On offense he used his length to lock out defenders and keep them away from the QB. Shawn sank his hips and had a strong stance allowing him to stonewall the D-line. He is a good athlete who can run on his toes and get out in space, allowing him to be impact at both OT and DE. I like his toughness, motor and physicality that he showed in the game and that should lead to him getting some college interest down the line.
