- Played Left Tackle on the Varsity level for a Houma Christian team that took its fair share of lumps this season, as they finished 2-7 on the year. The important part of that sentence as it pertains to Phillips, is “played left tackle on the varsity level…”
- Phillips appears to be a bit of a project based off his 2024 film, specifically in the strength department. That said, there’s no teaching his size and there’s no substitute for the knowledge and experience gained by playing varsity football as an eighth-grader. He has the frame and all the length needed to add a ton of muscle and weight on his frame. With continued work, there’s no reason he isn’t a completely different player by end of his sophomore campaign
