I love the way that Sean runs the ball. It is an excellent blend of patience and athleticism. After taking the direct snap the senior does a great job of letting his blocks develop ahead of him as he helps get the defense flowing laterally. As soon as the lane opens up the senior has that lower body explosive acceleration to burst through the hole and into the second level. Beyond the line of scrimmage Sean also did a great job of setting up and using blocks downfield. West Ryan is an opportunistic athlete who thrives with his vision, patience, and burst.

What a game by the standout RB/ATH from New Berlin West! The senior RB is blessed with a special blend of contact balance, quick twitch agility, and burst. That combination of traits gives him the ability to dominate between the tackles. We see him take hits, run through tackles, and come out the other side of scrums at an outstandingly high rate. As soon as he hits the open field the senior shows that second gear to separate from the defense. It is pretty mesmerizing to watch Sean carry the ball. I highly recommend diving into the tape of this senior RB steal!

The 2025 RB Class doesn’t have that elite top talent, but it is loaded with depth. That gives us several athletes chasing that #1 spot, including the RB out of New Berlin West. Sean is a 5’9″ 175 lbs RB with an impressive athletic profile. At the WFCA combine he ran a 4.54 40, 4.28 shuttle, 7.20 L Drill, broad jumped 9’6″, and vertical jumped almost 36″.
On tape, Sean is an exciting RB to watch. He has a very effective combo of vision, patience, and burst. Ryan allows blocks to develop, and as soon as he finds the alley he gets up field and up to full speed to start gaining positive yards. Once he breaks the line of scrimmage, Sean shows how elusive he is thanks to his lateral agility and ability to jump cut. Sean is a natural playmaker on the field. He makes the highlight reel play look easy, and he does it over and over. Check out his film. The 2025 is looking for that first offer.
