Complete effort from all 22 Father Judge players in the win over Lansdale Catholic this past Saturday. I’d argue that despite a rough first quarter, no prospect in blue impressed me more than the new starter behind center. I had the chance to see Sean Long Sean Long 5'10" | 170 lbs | QB Father Judge | 2026 PA work at our 7v7, yet it had slipped my mind that he had moved from LaSalle to Judge. Seeing him warm up was a welcome sight. Long turned the ball over a couple of times early, but settled down, trusted his coaching staff, line, and own talents. Long would gain control of the huddle and direct an offense that would outscore LC by multiple touchdowns.

Long connected with Pat Murphy for a highlight play that would go for a score some 60+ yards out. I came away more impressed with his ability to escape the pocket, his ability to hit out-breaking routes accurately, as well as his ability to scan and read the middle of the field. No easy week in the PCL, Father Judge is going to need the best out of Long each and every week, this being a good learning experience.
