Nestled up near the Indiana/Michigan border, the Lakeland Lakers are putting together a solid 5-1 season to this point. Leading that charge is sophomore running back, Sean Conley Sean Conley 5'11" | 170 lbs | RB Lakeland | 2026 State IN . With 89 carries, he has amassed just over 1,000 yards on the ground, averaging 11.3 per carry. A week ago in a blowout win against Central Noble, he tallied 103 yards and two touchdowns, bringing his season total to 14 in that category. Most notably, all the way back in week 3, he did what seems to be impossible. Conley carried the ball just four times, but ran for a very efficient 248 yards! That’s 62 yards per carry. He also scored four touchdowns. So, every time he was handed the ball, he took it to the house. Absolutely incredible. Conley has everything you look for in a star running back: speed, agility, great vision, etc. Being only a sophomore, Conley’s outlook is so, so bright. He’ll be a fun follow throughout the rest of this year and beyond.
