He announced his post-grad year at Williston Northampton on Twitter on March 14, 2024. A view of his 20-23 season film for upcoming ranking purposes displayed an active player who’s constantly around the ball. He has a good knee bend. He understands pursuit angles and can close time and space. He plays downhill in the run game. Has an obvious motor.

He will surely be added to our class of 2025 rankings during the next update Summer 2024. “McDermott”  has picked up an offer from Georgetown and will likely see additional offers roll in this spring and summer evaluation period.

Stops at Woodstock Academy and Springfield Central (according to Hudl), Seamus McDermott Seamus McDermott 6'1" | 220 lbs | LB Williston Northampton | 2025 State New E announced his post-grad year at Williston Northampton, moving McDermott into the 2025 player pool. Less than a month later, McDermott announced a scholarship offer from Georgetown University after he spoke with GTown DC Kevin Doherty. An immediate impact after the decision should have McDermott feeling satisfied, to say the least. A true MIKE backer whose tape received a low FBS grade out of me after eval. He might not crack that ceiling, that’s not important. What’s important is that whoever is running through the trenches against Williston Northampton will have to account for this absolute mauler of a man. An athlete at the position, one hell of a motor. With the addition of McDermott, it’s likely Connors can stay at RB and not have to play both ways. Could be the piece of the puzzle that ends up deciding wins and losses next Fall.
