Savion started the game with two early TDs for Louisa County. He is as advertised. He has the elite burst you are looking for out of a running back. When he sees the crease, he will quickly accelerate through it. He forces defenders to wrap up to tackle him; arm tackling will not bring him down. He is one of our favorite players in the state of Virginia at Prep Redzone and is a top recruit in the entire nation. He showed why in this game.

looks like an Power 5 type of player in my opinion and he showed it again last Friday. In Louisa County’s win over Monticello Hiter had 4 touchdowns before halftime to put this contest on ice early. Hiter had three rushing scores but his fourth touchdown came on a long reception that he pulled away from the Monticello defense. This young man is the real deal in case you haven’t notice already.
Louisa County football picks up its 10th straight win after a dominant 45-6 win over Monticello.
Only eleven total prospects received a Power Four (+) grade on my scale this past update. This grade reserved for recruits who I could see potentially starting/contributing before becoming an upperclassman at the next level. This grade reserved for prospects who could become future All-Americans, future All-Conference players. Woodberry Forest’s Savion HiterSavionHiter

was one of the eleven to receive the highest possible grade on my scale.
High praise, Hiter’s tape warrants it. Offers from 25+ programs spanning across the country. The likes of Texas, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon, and Notre Dame are among the many programs holding prestige that would be more than willing to bring in Hiter’s talents. Talks among those in the know, there’s a real chance a Virginia program could reel the top running back in the state. Ohio State and Michigan could potentially lure Hiter away from Mineral, VA.
5’11, 199lbs, Hiter boasts a clean four-minute tape on Hudl showcasing the best reps throughout his 1,100+ yard sophomore season. Despite Hiter making kids look like toddlers at times, I do think there was a bit of a drop-off in terms of special runs on tape. This being the sole reason Hiter dropped from the three spot to the four. None of this matters in the grand scheme of things, Hiter is easily one of the better-equipped 2026 backs ready to handle football at the highest of levels. Vision between the tackles, vision, and pacing during outside zone runs, home-run hitting gear, balance through the trenches. You name it, Hiter has it, one of the better backs I’ve had the pleasure of covering in my young career.
The home run hitter for Woodberry Forest Savion made a very compelling case to be our number 1 ranked overall prospect, he is that good. What stands out to me the most is his vision once this young man sees an opening goodnight. All he did in his freshman campaign was account for 29 total touchdowns and over 1,500 yards rushing not too bad. Hiter transferred from Louisa County to Woodberry Forest just a few weeks ago and if you are a Tigers fan you should be thrilled. The kid has amassed numerous major offers already, including South Carolina, Ole Miss and Mississippi State and trust me plenty more are coming.
