Class of 2028 DL/OL Sam Hirschy Sam Hirschy 6'4" | 250 lbs | EDGE New Palestine | 2028 State IN is getting plenty of snaps as an offensive lineman this year. The 6-foot-4, 267-pound prospect is a mauler in the trenches. He picked up his first offer in awhile from UCLA in mid-August.

15.) New Palestine defensive lineman anchors Dragons on both sides of the ball. Has seen his recruiting pick up serious steam over the offseason.

Plays both ways on the LOS. Good first step quickness, tall and athletic with good ankle flexion. Played OT during the one-on-one reps with the OL/DL and both ways during the team period; his college fit is at defense. Left unblocked, he is very disruptive. Good block shedder who can long-arm opposing OTs and takes good pursuit angles to the ball. See him as a guy who can add weight and plug the middle at nose at the next level.
